A curious Question

So I've been in a blah mood today and after listening to a song, I pondered the thought of Why am I here? And to tell you the truth I couldn't answer it. So I was skyping with David and I told him I'm in like a blah mood and he told me to write a song. So I said I had too many songs in my head to come up with my own. But I remembered while I was beading today, I had started to come up with a song. So I wrote down the first four lines of the poem. And I took that out. I couldn't remember the tune to the song but I had an idea of where I wanted to go for a poem. So I wrote. Not totally knowing what words were coming out from the tips of my fingers. I just wrote and wrote until this came up. It still doesn't fix my mood or describe it. But it's a thought. And sometimes thoughts are meant to be heard.

A Curious Question

So lately I’ve been thinking
Who am I anyway
But why am I here
What’s my purpose
For the fame or the glory
Because I made a difference
Or am I here to teach others
All that I know
To help them
So they won’t make the same mistakes
That I did
Or am I just here
For no reason at all
That I was just made
To have someone here
To fill up space

As I ponder this thought
I look at the big picture
Why is any of us here
Do any of us really have a reason
To walk on this earth
Some may say yes
But in the end
Just think
Do we actually make a difference
Something that will benefit in the end
To help who or what created us

Just look at the big picture
